The Russian Federation has repeatedly used Kinzhal missiles in the war against Ukraine, but the stocks of these missiles are probably very limited.

Satellite imagery from Planet Labs spotted Russian MiG-31Ks armed with hypersonic Kinzhals at Machulishchi Air Base south of Minsk.

According to the Norwegian "Faktisk", the pictures were taken on Monday, October 31, in the morning. One photo shows three aircraft and a missile system with Kinzhal.

The same planes can be seen in the pictures taken on 18 October.

It is also indicated that there is a container next to the planes, which is used by the Russians to transport missiles.

British intelligence wrote about the transfer of the MiG-31K this morning. A container with Kinzhal was also noticed in the photo.

According to British intelligence, the Russian Federation used Kinzhal missiles in the war against Ukraine, but the stocks of these missiles are probably very limited. Due to the range of 2,000 km, deploying the Kinzhals in Belarus offers little advantage to the Russian Federation in the war against Ukraine, analysts explained: “Most likely, Moscow transferred these missiles to signal the West and show Belarus as an accomplice in the war.”

Kh-47M2 Kinzhal is a hypersonic aeroballistic weapon. Its speed after reset exceeds the speed of sound by 10 times.
