Mykhailo Fedorov and Valeria Ionan met with the World Bank team — Bob Som, Regional Director for Eastern Europe, and Michel Kerf, Regional Director for Digital Transformation in Europe, Central Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean. They discussed support for Ukrainian innovations within the WINWIN strategy, synchronized the status of ongoing joint projects, and expressed gratitude for supporting the National Digital Agenda 2030 and the Digital Resilience Strategy.
The World Bank is a strategic partner of the Ministry of Digital Transformation in developing the telecom sector, digitalizing services, and strengthening cyber resilience. Together with the World Bank, the Ministry is working in the following areas:
Tallinn Mechanism: The World Bank became the first international financial organization to join this global initiative that helps strengthen the cyber resilience of the digital state. This is an important signal for other partners
Open Source for Diia: The World Bank will help transition the government’s super app to open source.
Internet Accessibility: With the Bank’s support, we are also conducting research on investment needs to ensure everyone has access to fixed internet.
"We thank the World Bank for the visit and consistent support. We are expanding cooperation in developing Ukrainian innovations and hope for new joint revolutionary projects," wrote Mykhailo Fedorov.
