The Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, has launched a new section on the StopRussianRecruiters.org platform dedicated to individuals involved in recruiting foreign citizens to fight in the war against Ukraine.
“The Recruiters section publishes profiles of agents and intermediaries whose activities are linked in open sources to the recruitment of foreign citizens for service in the Russian armed forces,” the Coordination Headquarters said in a statement on Friday.
The section covers cases where people are lured to Russia under the guise of civilian employment, misled about the actual conditions of service, or targeted through fraudulent recruitment schemes.

“Even those who knowingly agree to serve often become victims of deception: they do not receive the promised payments or lose money due to the actions of recruiters. Victims of such schemes include people from economically vulnerable communities around the world, particularly from African countries,” the Coordination Headquarters emphasized.
StopRussianRecruiters.org also compiles and publishes information already available in open sources in order to warn potential victims, draw the attention of the international community to the issue, and make such information more accessible.
In addition, the project calls on victims, their relatives, and witnesses to report cases of recruitment. All reports are processed confidentially.
