On Thursday, June 27, Ukraine opened an Honorary Consulate in the capital of Liechtenstein, Vaduz

David Karl Jandrasits, who was appointed in April, heads the consulate.

This was reported by the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

The opening of the honorary consulate was attended by the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Yevhen Perebyinis, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Education, and Sports of Liechtenstein, Dominique Hasler.

"Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Deputy Minister congratulated Honorary Consul David Karl Jandrasits on joining Ukraine's diplomatic team and called for active work towards achieving Ukraine's victory," the report states.

Dominique Hasler emphasized that Ukraine and Liechtenstein share common values and views. Therefore, according to her, the opening of Ukraine's honorary consulate in the Principality is a historically significant event and a symbolic step towards strengthening interaction between the countries.

The officials held a separate meeting during which the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine expressed gratitude to Liechtenstein for its support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state.

Additionally, the parties discussed "prospects for developing bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, as well as collaboration within international organizations."
