Sweden has officially confirmed the transfer of eight self-propelled Archer artillery systems to Ukraine.
This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Sweden, Paul Jonson, as reported by SVT. According to him, this is undoubtedly important for Ukrainians as the Archer system has good mobility and high accuracy.
The Swedish government made the decision to provide Ukraine with the Archer self-propelled howitzers in January. The system has a firing range of five kilometers and can be deployed, fired, and moved from the location in just a few minutes.
It's worth noting that in early October, the Swedish government announced the allocation of the 14th package of military assistance to Ukraine, consisting mainly of ammunition.
