In Odessa, a Russian drone attacked a school, and although the military managed to shoot down the enemy target, the drone's wreckage fell onto a popular yacht club, causing damage.
According to the press service of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, the enemy resorted to missile and drone terror in the southern regions once again. Specifically, Russian military personnel launched six kamikaze drones of the "Shahed-136" type from Cape Chauda in Crimea, and they attempted to strike the Odessa region from the Black Sea waters. All six drones were shot down by air defense forces.
However, the debris from one of the downed drones fell onto a popular yacht club in Odessa. This resulted in the destruction of the building of the sailing sports school and a storage hangar, as well as damage to civilian private boats and yachts. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
It is worth noting that later on, tactical aviation aircraft fired an X-59 missile, which the Air Defense Forces destroyed in the sky over the Mykolaiv region.
