Tchaikovsky Gala concert will be held on 24th of December at the Odessa Philarmonic Theatre with the participation of Jakow Pavlenko and Hobart Earle.
Tchaikovsky Gala is an atmosphere of a winter fairy tale, Christmas, and festive mood, one of the most favorite concerts of our audience, which gives bright memories and New Year's premonitions.
Tchaikovsky's music has already become a symbol of the Christmas holidays around the world. Well-known melodies are covered with images from children's fairy tales, dreams of love and harmony will be heard in one concert and will leave unforgettable impressions!
This project was inspired and realized thanks to the work of the People's Artist of Ukraine Hobart Earle. Every year, the orchestra and the maestro prepare a special gift for their favorite listeners.
This year, a young, talented violinist will perform Tchaikovsky's violin works, winner of the Odessa International Violin Competition and the Tretyakov Violin Competition by Jakow Pavlenko.
Jakow Pavlenko (*2003 in Berlin) has been trained since 2013 by Prof. Ina Kertscher at the "Institut zur Frühförderung musikalisch Hochbegabter" (IFF) at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media.
At his first participation in the national competition "Jugend musiziert" in 2016, he won first prize in the category "Violin Solo" with the highest score and a special prize from the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben. In the same year, he was awarded 3rd prize and the young talent prize in the German final of the competition for the 22nd Lions Music Prize.
