The head of the Center for the Study of Occupation, Petro Andriushchenko, reported that with the start of the sowing season in occupied Pryazovia, Russian forces have resumed the theft of Ukrainian grain from storage facilities in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
Convoys are heading to Rostov-on-Don, where the grain is loaded onto ships bound for Novorossiysk and beyond.
The grain is transported to Rostov-on-Don, loaded onto vessels, and then shipped further. After leaving Rostov’s ports, ships head to Novorossiysk, after which their routes remain unclear. However, cases of illegal exports to third countries have been documented.
Additionally, in the occupied Donetsk region, Russian forces plan to construct seven new grain elevators, each with a storage capacity of at least 20,000 tons. This will enable Russia to expand its export of stolen agricultural products, turning Ukrainian resources into a source of funding for its aggression.
According to the Center for National Resistance, approximately 165,000 tons of Ukrainian grain have already been stockpiled in the occupied areas of Donetsk. Preparations are actively underway for export shipments.
