The film about Ukraine "Porcelain War" has been nominated for the 2025 Oscar for Best Documentary Feature! The documentary "Porcelain War," directed by Brendan Bellomo and Slava Leontiev, is a co-production between Ukraine, the USA, and Australia. It tells the story of three artists from Kharkiv — Slava Leontiev, his wife Anya Stasenko, and their friend Andriy Stefanov.

After the full-scale war began in 2022, they remained in Kharkiv, under constant rocket fire, and turned art into a way of resistance. Filming lasted over a year, during which Leontiev served in the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Together with colleagues, they created unique porcelain pieces and decorated destroyed buildings, turning pain into beauty. The film had previously won at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival, and now its story has entered the global cinema elite with an Oscar nomination.
