During the night of June 10 (starting at 6:00 p.m. on June 9), Russian forces launched an attack using 207 strike UAVs, including Shahed drones (among them jet-powered variants), Gerbera and Italmas drones, Banderol loitering munitions, and Parodiya decoy drones. The drones were launched from the directions of Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as Chauda and Hvardiiske in the occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
The air attack was repelled by Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data as of 8:00 a.m., Ukrainian air defenses had shot down or suppressed 181 UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of drones, across northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.
Hits by 21 strike drones were recorded at 14 locations. In addition, debris from intercepted drones fell at 13 separate locations.
