Employees of a Ukrainian company have been caught aiding the Russian Federation by selling microchips used for missiles and drones.
This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
Under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor General's Office, three employees and the founder of a private company were exposed for assisting the aggressor state.
According to the investigation, they devised a plan to systematically supply electronic components from Ukraine to Russia, bypassing international sanctions. These components were used in the production of missiles and drones. Between 2022 and 2023 alone, the participants in this scheme transferred over 1,500 types of microelectronics to Russia, valued at approximately $500,000.
One of the suspects has been detained, and the authorities are deciding on charges and a preventive measure.
Other company employees who are currently hiding abroad have been charged in absentia.
