Russian forces have carried out their seventeenth combined attack on the gas transportation infrastructure of Naftogaz Group, damaging facilities responsible for gas production.

This was stated in a report on the Naftogaz Group's website.

"This is already the seventeenth combined attack on the gas transportation infrastructure of Naftogaz Group. Production capacities responsible for gas extraction have been damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties," said Naftogaz Group CEO Roman Chumak. "At the moment, efforts are underway to eliminate the consequences of the shelling and assess the damage. Naftogaz Group is taking all necessary measures to restore the operation of the facilities targeted by the enemy. We are doing and will continue to do everything possible to ensure the country has gas," Chumak added.

A fire caused by an Russian missile attack on an industrial facility in Ternopil region has been extinguished. This was reported on live television by the head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Negoda.

"There were two missile strikes on the gas transportation network in Ternopil region. As of now, the fire and other related extinguishing efforts have been completed. There is a risk of gas pressure drops in the network across many settlements in the region. We are taking measures to minimize the consequences of this strike as much as possible. Certain technical hubs have been affected, and urgent technical solutions are needed to restore the network," Negoda stated.

The head of the administration reported that out of six missiles, two hit their target, while air defense forces intercepted four. Additionally, two Shahed drones were shot down.

"We appeal to all residents of the region: if possible, limit gas consumption as much as possible, including non-household consumers," Negoda added.

He also noted that there were no casualties or injuries. A large team of over 60 people from the State Emergency Service worked to extinguish the fire.

"Of course, the fire has left consequences—smoke and other effects. Residents of Ternopil have been calling in. We have instructed authorities to conduct air quality measurements," the head of the administration added.
