The Security Service is conducting intensified counter-sabotage "cleaning" of the front-line areas in the east of Ukraine. Over the last week of large-scale operations in the Kharkiv region, more than 60 traitors and collaborators who cooperated with the occupiers and justified the armed aggression of the Russian Federation were exposed.

As a result of special operations, the SBU managed to obtain and transfer to the Armed Forces of Ukraine units more than 700 coordinates for fire damage to command posts, accumulation of personnel, heavy weapons and warehouses with ammunition of the invaders.

This is how employees of the Security Service neutralized the saboteurs, among whom were former law enforcement officers. The attackers collected intelligence on the location of Ukrainian troops and strategically important objects of critical infrastructure in the region.

To obtain relevant information, visual observation was carried out, photo and video recording tools were used, and information was obtained through personal connections.

Communication with their Russian "curators" was maintained through previously closed communication channels.

The occupiers used the materials for massive rocket and artillery shelling of the Kharkiv region.

Another hostile task of the Russian agents was preparation for active sabotage actions, including explosions on the territory of the regional center.

The SBU officers detained the intruders while passing classified information from the front-line territory to the invaders.

Currently, the detainees have been notified of the suspicion of committing crimes against the state security of Ukraine, and a preventive measure in the form of detention has been chosen.

Also, in the course of the special operation, the location of enemy caches with combat weapons was established. Rocket-propelled anti-tank grenades, automatic weapons, sniper rifles and MON-90 anti-personnel mines were removed from the caches.

The discovered arsenal was planned to be used by Russian saboteurs to sabotage in the Kharkiv region's border areas.

Currently, comprehensive measures are being taken to neutralize all participants in intelligence-subversive activities against Ukraine.

SBU officers in the Kharkiv region carried out measures to expose criminals with units of the National Police, the Military Law and Order Service, the National Guard, and the State Border Service of Ukraine.
