Russian invaders intend to cross to the left bank of the Oskol River in the Kharkiv region due to the accumulation of forces on the Liman-Kupyansk direction. This was stated by military expert and retired colonel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, former spokesperson of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from 2014 to 2017, Vladyslav Seleznev, during an information telethon broadcast.

In particular, he was asked about the significance of the Ukrainian reserves being moved to the Liman-Kupyansk direction.

Seleznev noted that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine closely monitors the movements of Russian occupant forces.

"Considering that the Russian occupation army is attempting to exert pressure on our defensive lines and positions on this section of the front from both the north along the Oskol River and from the southeast from Svatove, in order to fundamentally change the territorial situation on this section of the front, our commanders are making a responsible decision to strengthen our lines and positions on this front to prevent any advance of enemy forces and assets," Seleznev said.

The expert suggests that the enemy is attempting to cross to the left bank of the Oskol River and consolidate territorial gains in this section of the front.

He expresses confidence that the reinforcement of Ukrainian defenders with appropriate resources will prevent the enemy from realizing its plans.
