Angels of Sport. Requiem for the dead Ukrainian athletes

After the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 47 athletes died in our country.

The Sports Committee of Ukraine has launched a website with information about them.

It is noted that most athletes died in battle while performing tasks.

Among the dead are minor athletes:

14-year-old weightlifter Alina Peregudova;
16-year-old sambist Artem Priymenko;
11-year-old gymnast Ekaterina Dyachenko.
