Russian forces attacked nine regions of Ukraine in the last 24 hours

Russian Federation forces carried out attacks on nine regions of Ukraine over the course of a day. This information is based on the consolidated data from regional military administrations regarding the situation in Ukraine as of 9:00 on Wednesday, January 10.

In Chernihiv region, the enemy fired artillery and mortars at the Novhorod-Siverskyi district. There is no information about casualties among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure at the moment. The details are being clarified.

In Sumy region, the Russians conducted four shelling incidents with mortars on border areas and populated areas during the night. Shelling occurred in the communities of Seredyno-Budsky, Esman, Svesa, and Znob-Novgorodska.

Yesterday, the Russians shelled Sumy region 21 times throughout the day, with 74 explosions recorded. Shelling affected the communities of Krasnopil, Bilopil, Myropil, Velykopysarivka, Novoslobidska, Esman, Znob-Novgorodska, Seredyno-Budka, and Svesa.

In the Krasnopil community, a cultural center, private houses, and power lines were damaged due to a drone attack.

In the sky over Sumy region, the air defense system destroyed a Shahed type UAV.

In Zaporizhia region, the invaders struck 102 times on 19 populated areas.

43 drones attacked Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Novodarivka, Chervone, Huliaipilske, Robotine, Novoandriivka, Poltavka, Levadne, Malinivka, and Piatykhatky.

There were 53 artillery shelling incidents on the territory of Zaliznychnyi, Robitne, Novodanilivka, Levadne, Charivne, Stepove, Mali Shcherbaky, Kamianske, Piatykhatky, Bilenke, as well as other cities and villages along the front line.

Nine reports were received about the destruction of residential buildings.

In Dnipropetrovsk region, the enemy attacked Nikopol district 12 times with artillery and kamikaze drones. Private houses, utility structures, power lines, and gas pipelines were damaged in Nikopol, Manganese, and Myrivska communities.

During the night, one of the villages in the Manganese community was shelled by heavy artillery. There are no reported casualties.

Late yesterday evening, the enemy struck Kharkiv, damaging a children's medical and health center.

Over the course of the day, the aggressors carried out artillery strikes on more than 17 populated areas in Kharkiv Oblast, including Udy, Vesele, Slobozhanske in Kharkiv district, Vovchanske, Mala Vovcha in Chuhuiv district, Kupyansk, Ivanivka in Kupiansk district, and others.

The Russian army conducted air strikes on Vesele, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Tabaivka, Pishchane, Berestove in Kupiansk district.

Damages include wires, supports, and a 10 kV power line near a building in Slobizhanske village in Kharkiv district. The building of the village council, windows, roof, fence, walls, and an adjacent premises were also damaged.

In Luhansk region, almost every day, the invaders conduct aviation raids on Serebrianyi Forest and artillery shelling on Bilohorivka.

During the day, the enemy carried out 132 shelling incidents in Luhansk region (firing 548 projectiles).

In Donetsk region, the towns of Kurakhove, Avdiivka, New York, Hostre, Shcherbynivka, Orlivka, Novobakhmutivka, and Berdychiv were under fire. Eight residential buildings were damaged, and two people were injured.

In Mykolaiv region, artillery shelling was reported in the village of Kutsurub in Kutsurubska community. No casualties were reported.

In Kherson region, Russian forces conducted 74 shelling incidents (firing 375 projectiles), including 5 shelling incidents (11 projectiles) targeting Kherson city. Russians targeted areas in 22 populated areas, critical infrastructure objects in Kherson and Kherson district, a bank institution, a factory, an educational institution, and an administrative building in Kherson.

Russian forces shelled one of the settlements in Bilozerka community. A 55-year-old woman and her 57-year-old husband were injured.
