The documentary film Porcelain War, about the war in Ukraine, has received two nominations for the Critics' Choice Documentary Awards, as stated on the award's website.

Directed by Brendan Bellomo and Slava Leontiev, the film is nominated in two categories: Best New Director in Documentary and Best Political Film.

Winners will be announced at a gala event on November 10 at The Edison Ballroom in Manhattan.

Porcelain War features filmmakers from the USA, Ukraine, and Australia, and tells the story of three Ukrainian porcelain animal artists, with Slava Leontiev also appearing in the film.

The Critics' Choice Documentary Awards is an annual award given by the Critics Choice Association to honor the best achievements in film and television. Historically, this award has been a reliable predictor of the nominations for the Oscars.

Porcelain War, co-produced with the USA, was recognized as the best film at the 40th Sundance Film Festival in America.
