The government of the Netherlands has allocated an additional billion euros in military aid for Ukraine.
This was announced by the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, in his statement.
"Ukraine is daily plagued by Russian aggression. This week, large-scale attacks took place on power plants. Civilians also lost their lives again in attacks on the city of Kharkiv. Ukraine needs more to protect itself.," the statement said.
The country will provide 3 billion euros in military assistance next year and allocate 400 million euros for the maintenance of the economy and repair of critical infrastructure in Ukraine.
The Netherlands will continue to cooperate with international partners, including Denmark and the Czech Republic, to ensure that the Armed Forces of Ukraine receive more ammunition and air defense equipment more quickly.
