Ukraine has organized the collection of DNA samples abroad. This is necessary for the search for missing persons.

This was reported by Dmytro Lubinets, the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada on Human Rights, on Telegram.

"The collection of information on the collection of DNA samples abroad for the search for missing persons on the territory of Ukraine has started. Ukrainian citizens, foreigners, and stateless persons who wish to find their missing relatives can submit their DNA samples," Lubinets wrote.

According to him, places where DNA samples can be submitted operate based on the State Enterprise "Document." DNA samples will be sent to the investigators of the National Police for the search and identification of missing persons.

The main goal of this DNA collection project is the identification of individuals who have gone missing on the territory of Ukraine, including under special circumstances.

This initiative aims to expedite the process of searching for people who have disappeared under particular circumstances.
