The Netherlands has joined Denmark and Sweden in the initiative to procure CV90 infantry fighting vehicles for Ukraine.
This was reported by NOS.
It is reported that the Dutch government has allocated approximately 400 million euros for the project.
A significant portion of the fighting vehicles, namely 180 out of the planned 230, will be built at Dutch production facilities.
"European production capacity needs to increase for Ukraine, but also for ourselves. Our armed forces must be combat-ready, and there is a time pressure on this," said the Dutch Minister of Defense.
